I'm Rachel, originally from Port of Spain, Trinidad I've had the opportunity to live in and travel to many places where lush plants and bright flowers grow, waters are clear and form a way of life, and the people are as vibrant as the landscape that surrounds them. These places, as well as the artists they have produced, have influenced my art and how I see beauty in this world.

I studied Economics and Business in Canada, and made my way over to Spain where I took a year to study Art and Art History. Fast forward to today, I'm a full-time Corporate Strategist, living in Oakville, Ontario. Art has always been a meditative and spiritual experience for me, and it keeps me grounded. Strong time-management skills and encouragement from my family help me balance my corporate career with my passion for art. I have also found that the two aspects of my life are symbiotic, allowing me to approach my projects with methodical precision and creative freedom.

My hope is that by expressing my vision and sharing my interpretations through art, others will feel a deep and meaningful connection to the work, and be brought a sense of joy.
